Jersey Boys is Returning to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts – January 11-29, 2012
Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-Winning Best Musical Jersey Boys is making its triumphant return to South Florida with a 3 week only engagement at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts January 11-29th, 2012.
This stunning musical tells the story of the beginning and legendary rise of one of music's most endearing groups, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The cast of Jersey Boys includes Joseph Leo Bwarie (Frankie Valli), Preston Truman Boyd (Bob Gaudio), Michael Lomenda (Nick Massi) and John Gardiner (Tommy DeVito) as the Four Seasons, with Jonathan Hadley and Joseph Siravo.
The premiere engagement of Jersey Boys in Ft. Lauderdale was an amazing success, seen by over 80,000 theatergoers. It broke the Broward Center's box office records and is considered solid gold by critics and audiences alike. Worldwide Jersey Boys has been seen by approximately 13 million people, as of July 2011.
Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, and is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. The true star of the show is the music of the Four Seasons. Truly timeless songs that we all know and love. This is a wonderfully exciting show that the entire family will enjoy, cheer and sing along.
