Jersey Shore Cast Sued: Snooki Front and Center

The entire cast of the Jersey Shore is being sued, right along with MTV and anyone else connected to the hit reality series by a New Jersey woman who claims she was roughed up and scarred by security during an altercation with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

According to an NBC-Philadelphia report, the woman had a confrontation with Nicole Polizzi, a.k.a. Snooki, by far the most well-known member of the show. The woman has only been identified by the initials J.P., undoubtedly to protect her from angry Jersey Shore fans.

J.P. claims that she and Snooki got into a heated verbal exchange, after which a member of the security staff manhandled her and threw her on the boardwalk. This resulted in her sustaining a deep gash which has left a scar on her chin. Hmmm ... facial scarring should be worth a pretty nice settlement.

Her lawsuit relates that this incident occurred on the same night one of the Jersey Shore's male members, Ronnie Magro-Ortiz, was arrested for assault after he beat a man unconscious. The episode was entitled: "One Shot," which referred to the fight, not a drink, as we well know the Jersey Shore denizens don't stop at one, particularly Snooki.

Snooki spent some time in July, cooling her heels in the Seaside Heights drunk tank after getting drunk and disorderly on the beach.

But is it really Snooki's fault that security got physical with the woman and how much physical force was necessary to restrain J.P. from whatever she was attempting to do that required restraining? I don't know if we can expect to find out more about it because if the woman wants to keep her identity a secret, she may not be giving interviews. Snooki and the rest of the cast should be advised not to talk about the lawsuit.

Why J.P.'s attorney, Eugene Lavergne, chose to include Mike "The Situation", Ronnie, Vinny, DJ Pauly D, JWoww, Angelina and Sammi as named defendants is also a mystery at this point, particularly Sammi "Sweetheart," because everyone knows that Sammi never gets out of bed.
