Jersey Shore House - "Snookie Slept Here" - Now You Can Too!

Snookie Slept Here - Not George Washington - Why Such a High Price?

"Snookie Slept Here" - Not George Washington!

Spend a night at the Jersey Shore in the same house that the MTV reality show, Jersey Shore, used for filming. Put all that stuff in your hair and see how "big" you can get it with visions of Snookie standing in the same spot as you, doing the same things. Find out how it feels to sit on the same throne that "The Situation" graced all last summer. Sounds insipid? You bet it does, but many people will jump at the chance? My guess is that there is already a waiting list.

The Seaside Heights house at the Jersey Shore that MTV's reality show was filmed in is up for rent, one night at a time. It has tripled in price since the "kids left" and of course it would, "Snookie slept there". The price for one night in that house during "off peak" season (term meaning when it is not warm out) is $3,500 a night. This is not a typo; it is this much for one night. When the "peak season" returns (term meaning warm weather), the house will go for $6,500 a night. It wasn't a house that George Washington slept in - It was a house that "Snookie" slept in, what is wrong with this picture?

The Jersey Shore house which boasts 6 bedrooms and three bathrooms is going to be having all kinds of fans emptying their bank accounts just to spend a night where the Jersey Shore Cast stayed. Who needs to save that money for college when you can spend it on a night or two in the house that "Snookie" slept in?

If I were a perspective tenant, I would have some minor demands before staying there. The landlord has to remember that everyone who is going to be renting that house has seen what went on in that house. The first thing that needs to be addressed is - the hot tub. It needs to be drained and sanitized with bleach. Again, we know what went on in that water. Oh, and that fire hazard of a grill, that would need to be up graded. During the first grill cooking episode on Jersey Shore I sat with baited breath waiting for all that hair product on those heads to go up in flames along with the grill that caught on fire. That was a "bad situation", if I ever saw one.

Think about some of the things you might want to do in your rented house that costs approximately $150 an hour, off peak that is. Take seven other people with you and play DVD's of the "Jersey Shore" for the night. Make it a real fool's getaway. You can be the fools, for paying that kind of money to be there while watching the fools on TV who made the property so famous. This rounds the night of fools off nicely.

Jersey Shore House is up for rent by the night. How much would you pay to sleep where Snookie slept? Shower where Snookie showered? Sit in the hot tub where Snookie let her girls loose? It is going to cost you big time!

I haven't seen the show, but it sounds typical of the reality shows on MTV, which are absolutely nothing like the "real world" that I know. I sometimes wonder if kids growing up and watching MTV think that the behaviour of people on their shows is how the real world is. That might help explain some of the problems with youngsters these days. Just my rambling 2cents :)
