Jersey Shore Judge to Snooki Polizzi: "Lindsay Lohan Wannabe"

Self-described "guidette," Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, went before the judge Wednesday, charged with disorderly conduct, creating a public nuisance and being criminally annoying after a drunken incident in Seaside Heights on July 30. Her behavior netted her a trip to jail, national headlines, and accusations that it had all been done for the filming of the third season of "Jersey Shore," the MTV reality show in which she is stars. Before the day was over, the judge not only handed down fines and sentencing, but, according to Radar Online, he also made a snap judgment comparison to Lindsay Lohan.

Snooki Polizzi certainly had dressed the part of the diva, donning a skintight and shimmering charcoal dress with a black sash, her hair worn long with oversized sunglasses. However, that was where the resemblance ended. Snooki looked like Snooki.

To her credit, Snooki Polizzi reined in her usual brash mannerisms, remaining solemn throughout the proceedings. When addressing the court, she was apologetic. "I would definitely like to apologize to Seaside cops.. When I saw what happened.. I was very embarassed.. It's never happened before.. I would definitely like to apologize."

But the judge was visibly displeased. According to "The Envelope" at the Los Angeles Times, he told the 22-year-old that she was "acting like a Lindsay Lohan wannabe" with her "rude and self-indulgent" behavior. He even asked if her actions were scripted for "Jersey Shore." Snooki assured him that they were not.

The major charges were dismissed in favor of a plea of guilty to a charge of interfering with the enjoyment of the quiet use of the beach or public boardwalk. She was fined $500, plus $33 for court costs. Polizzi was also sentenced to two days community service.

Snooki was arrested after imbibing a number of drinks, then going to the beach and getting into a verbal fray with beach-goers. When police went to arrest her, she was heard to scream, "Do you know who I am?"

She reportedly said that she had drunk so much tequila that she didn't remember being arrested.

Still, the comparison to Lindsay Lohan may not have been very accurate. As "The Envelope" pointed out, by the age of 22, Lindsay Lohan had been to rehab three times and been arrested twice on suspicion of driving under the influence. Lohan, who is 24, has been in rehab at least five times to date and recently served 14 days of a 90-day jail sentence.

Still, given her abuse of alcohol, which has been documented on "Jersey Shore," Snooki still has time to become more Lindsay Lohan-like.
