Jersey Shore Season 2 Cocaine in Miami Scandal is No Surprise!

One of the Jersey Shore cast members is indulging in cocaine, reports RadarOnline. This occurred while the cast was filming in Miami and the rest of the fist pumping house members knew about it.

The name of the Jersey Shore cast member has not been released, but is anyone surprised about this revelation? I am surprised that this is the first time it has been mentioned in the 2 seasons we have watched the cast get inebriated beyond compare.

Miami is the place to score cocaine and the Jersey Shore cast is all about partying. Why would anyone think they would be above using the drug that is such a big part of the club scene?

The Jersey Shore cast was partying hardy before they went on the first season of the show. We know this because that is how they were "discovered" by the MTV scouts that were sent out to find the characters for this reality show.

The casting scouts did not go to libraries and church groups to find these kids. They sent out to find the drunken obnoxious clan that would make good TV viewing.

The money that the Jersey Shore cast is being paid for Season 2 has put them in a tax bracket that these kids would have never seen unless for this big break. They are thrown into luxury living and treated like movie stars everywhere they go. Their mentality would not have let this scenario go any other way. It was just a matter of time before the drug use began to surface.

Although these kids may think the Jersey Shore fame is the best thing that ever happened to them, it is probably just the opposite. They are already drinking beyond a social level and now seem to be falling into what we see happen with so many other stars that quickly become famous.

The drug problem among the young Hollywood stars seems to come just after they experience the "high" of fame. It is almost as if they get bored with that high quickly and go looking for other ways to feel euphoric. This is usually when the drugs come into the picture.

We have seen this with Lindsay Lohan, Brittany Spears and too many others to mention. There are very few stars that come out of the drug scene unscathed and there are some that don't come out alive. There have not been many good outcomes for the stars that start the practice of using drugs. By the time the ones that make it through the substance abuse with treatment, they usually have ruined their careers. Then there are Heath Ledger, Corey Haim, Michael Jackson and too many others that don't make it out at all.
