Jersey Shore Season 2 Premiere Arrives

Jersey Shore season 2 premiere parties are getting ready to begin. The Jersey Shore season 2 premiere is tonight, and Jersey Shore fans will be able to enjoy a brand new installment of fun in the sun. The cast of Jersey Shore won't be hanging out in New Jersey again this season, though, instead opting to head down to Miami, Florida, where the drama is sure to get ramped up again. Fans of the show will also be quite pleased that filming is beginning for the third season of Jersey Shore, so the show could be around for quite a bit longer on MTV.

Jersey Shore ended up being a surprise hit for MTV, which tries a new spin on the format which had found so much success on The Real World. This time, they put eight kids from the New Jersey area into a beach house, and watched as the drama became almost more intense than many seasons of The Real World had been able to boast. Many fans fell into line watching the first season, as the cast showed the fabulous side of a lifestyle that only includes going to the gym, tanning, doing laundry, and going out to parties. Oh, and don't forget nearly all of them hooking up with each other during the season.

The popularity of Jersey Shore has only seemed to climb during the time between now and when the first season finale aired, and it has really geared up expectations for what could be coming soon. The Jersey Shore season 2 premieres on MTV beginning Thursday, July 29, with the first episode airing at 10 p.m. PST/EST. There will be constant re-showings of the premiere episode, so don't fret if you miss it or can't get the DVR set up in time.
