Jersey Shore Season 4: Can Italy Handle This??
With all the natural disasters in the news, from the Australian wildfires and earthquake, to the catastrophic Japanese quake and tsunami, you'd think we've all had enough of witnessing the destruction of distant, storied countries. To envision the beauty of Italy soiled by Snooki's pickle juice (and goodness knows what other juices...) is almost more than we can bear, but we have to admit we have a morbid curiosity.

On the one hand, we feel for the people of Italy...deeply. In fact, we would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all Italians in advance for anything (and likely everything) the cast of Jersey Shore may do or say while they are living there. However, we have grown a bit tired of watching these kids merely drinking up and down the east coast of the United States. It's time to take this global.
Consider the possibilities: one or more of them might get lost in a canal somewhere due to a drunken stupor, and be unable to find their way back to the states. That small chance alone is worth all of them going, and as soon as possible. The more, the merrier; in all honesty, it only ups our odds. In that respect, good news: Ronnie has been given the go-ahead to film Jersey Shore Season 4 in Italy with the rest of the gang. A criminal case resulting from a fight two years ago threatened to stop everyone's favorite meathead's cash flow, but according to this Gather.com article, it appears Ronnie will be able to film after all and handle his court case separately.
Jersey Shore Season 4 is tentatively slated to air on MTV sometime later in 2011, according to this article on TVByTheNumbers.com.
