Jersey's Classic Rock is an internet radio station broadcasted out of Summit, NJ. The host and owner of the station is Jason Freeden, whose radio alias goes by the name of "JJ the DJ." Jersey's Classic Rock became an official radio station on June 28th, 2008, and the success of the station has been showing as there have been numerous upgrades including: increased listener slots, upgraded logo, and a user-friendly website ( www.jerseysclassicrock.com ).

As of August 20th, 2008, rock music plays 24/7, but from 11am-2pm - weekdays, JJ the DJ is on the air. Listeners can expect to hear entertainment, news, sports, and a lot more during that three hour period, as well as great music, both requested and non-requested. This also happens to be a large peak time for Jersey's Classic Rock, but peak times are now expanding, which is also a good sign for the station.

At Jersey's Classic Rock, listeners will hear artists including, but not limited to: Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Journey, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Queen, Styx, Chicago, Boston, Kansas, The Eagles, Elvis Presley, REO Speedwagon, Survivor, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Genesis, Guns N' Roses, Foreigner, Tears for Fears, Peter Frampton, Santana, Billy Joel, Rick Springfield, Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Motorhead, The Who, Eddie Money, John Cougar Mellencamp, Pearl Jam, Starship, Sting, Poison, Michael Jackson, and many more...

Thank you everyone! I highly appreciate it! I am on the air, chatting about news, sports, entertainment, and a bunch more from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm - weekdays, but the music plays 24/7! I make random appearances though and am working on other time slots. That'd be great if we could get a bunch of writers here at AC to tune in. A lot of people, while they are at work, tune in because it is relaxing to listen to music when working. Anyhow, thanks a lot everyone!
