Jesse James' Alleged Mistress Count Grows to Four

In what seems like a repeat of the recent cheating scandal involving Tiger Woods, one can only wonder if Jesse James' alleged cheating scandal will take the cake. Will the number of Jesse James' alleged mistresses continue to grow?

According to Huffington Post, a 4th woman has claimed to have had a three year affair with Jesse James and that this alleged affair just recently ended. The woman has chosen to keep her identity a secret, for the time being, but has retained the services of attorney Gloria Allred.

Do Elin Nordegren (wife of Tiger Woods) and Sandra Bullock (wife of Jesse James) have more in common than they realize?

It seems that both are good women who truly love their husbands and both had their hearts and trust broken, in a very public way.

Sandra Bullock is well known for both her celebrity status and her good-hearted, generous nature. She has personally donated money to help both the Katrina and Haiti victims. She is popular and loved by her many fans. She keeps her nose clean and lives a fairly balanced life as actress, wife, and step-mother. She could easily be classified as an all-American "good girl".

Elin Nordegren, although not as well known, is considered to be a "good girl" as well. It seems she has made every effort to be a devoted wife and mother while remaining stoic and graceful under the intense media pressure.

Neither of these women are the villains, but all eyes are undoubtedly on them and on what choices they make in the future. Whether either woman chooses divorce or chooses to stay married, they are sure to be criticized.

Maybe "good girls" finish last and "bad girls" are what Jesse James and Tiger Woods really prefer. Their alleged choice of mistresses would seem to indicate a strong pull towards "bad girls".

Why did Tiger Woods and Jesse James even get married in the first place?

It seems like a SINGLE celebrity can have their cake and eat it too all day long and have as many "good girls" or "bad girls" as they want without the public blinking an eye.

However, MARRIED celebrities should know that cheating allegations will make the headlines, especially when it involves multiple mistresses. Unfortunately, their spouse ends up being dragged down with them and has to endure both a broken heart and the embarrassment of intense media scrutiny.

As far as whether Jesse James' alleged mistress count will continue to grow remains to be seen. The collateral damage left behind though is sure to grow and broken hearts and broken trust are not easily repaired.

Let's hope that Sandra and Elin and the children involved can find some measure of peace in the future.
