Jesse James' Alleged Mistress Melissa Smith Beat Up a Cop?

It would seem that not only does Jesse James like his women / alleged mistresses in tattoos, but he likes them to be bad girls as well. Real bad girls. Not the I'm-getting-a-little-tattoo-to-show-I'm-a-rebel bad girl, either. Melissa Smith, the woman who alleged in Star magazine that she had a two-year rough and unprotected sexual fling with the husband of Sandra Bullock, seems to be a bad girl -- and not just in the bedroom. It seems that mistress #2 Melissa Smith has had some trouble with the law.

Jesse James was once married to porn star Janine Lindemulder who spent six months in federal prison for income tax evasion. She would be considered a bad girl. The first woman to come forward and allege she had an affair with James, Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, is a San Diego-based stripper and once worked as a webcam girl. That is considered bad girl territory. Her ex-husband is alleging she's into 'white power' and Nazism. That's really bad girl territory. But Melissa Smith not only has an adult entertainment connection (she is a stripper as well), her fight against authority and bad girl reputation extends to confrontations with the law.

According to TMZ, Melissa Smith beat up a police officer last May and was arrested for resisting arrest. She later pled guilty and served 20 days in jail in California. Now, that's a bad girl.

To add to her list of problems with the law, TMZ reported that on the same day that her expose about her affair with Jesse James appeared in Star magazine, she pled 'not guilty' to a DUI charge.

From bad to worse (if charges are founded)...

Melissa Smith's story of being Jesse James' mistress hit the newsstands Wednesday, a week after Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee's story in In Touch Weekly exposed Jesse James as an alleged adulterer. Smith's story is almost identical to McGee's, but her affair seems to have begun three years before McGee's and last a year longer. In Smith's version, the two met after Jesse James saw a photo of her modeling against a car at a West Coast Choppers (James' company made famous on the reality show "Monster Garage") party on her MySpace account and e-mailed her. The first evening they met in person the two ended up having sex on his office couch.

In Michelle McGee's version, she solicited Jesse James for modeling work for his company and he e-mailed her back. But instead of business, according to her, James wanted to get personal.

Since the scandal broke last Wednesday, three women have come forward claiming to have at one time been mistresses of Jesse James. Just a day after Melissa Smith's story made headlines, a Los Angeles photographer named Brigitte Daguerre told TMZ she also had a sexual relationship with Jesse James.

Daguerre doesn't look like a bad girl (not like Melissa Smith or Michelle McGee) -- other than the affair with a married man. But the celebrity gossip tabloids have just found out about her and have just started digging...
