Now, there are reports that Jesse James has entered rehab, supposedly to cure his problems with sex addiction and save his marriage to the Oscar winning Bullock. The whole sordid situation is eerily reminiscent of Tiger Woods alleged infidelities. Can Jesse James white wash his tarnished image by going to rehab and save his marriage to Sandra Bullock, even though there are reports of more alleged mistresses and a shocking Jesse James Nazi photo has emerged?

I've been following the Jesse James Sandra Bullock story closely, and I've learned that with this shocking situation, anything is possible. Each day seems to bring some new lurid twist to the Jesse James story. However, I was rather surprised to learn that Jesse James had checked into a rehab facility to deal with some personal issues. I'm not sure why this news shocked me so much, but it was probably because of the many parallels with the Tiger Woods cheating scandal.

A celebrity checking themselves into a treatment facility after the disclosure of alleged extramarital affairs seems to be the new normal in this emerging era of cheating public figures, like TV stars and sports stars. I can't help but wonder if celebrities like Jesse James and Tiger Woods check themselves into rehab to save their marriages, or is saving their public images their main motivation?

As Jesse James checks himself into rehab, he'll be attempting to heal his marriage and his reputation. James has been in the spotlight more and more in recent years; he was selected as a contestant on "Celebrity Apprentice," and he's been seen with wife Sandra Bullock on his arm at many recent awards shows, culminating in her Best Actress Academy Award win for The Blind Side. As the sordid news reports keep on coming about James' bad boy behavior, he stands to lose potential endorsements, and speaking engagements as well as his marriage. Who'll want to hire Jesse James now that his reputation is in shreds in Hollywood, and what will happen to his business enterprises in the wake of the scandal?

I'm more concerned about the effect his behavior has had on Sandra Bullock and his kids. Like the Tiger Woods debacle, I doubt the authenticity of Jesse James checking himself into rehab at this time. If Jesse James had decided one day to seek treatment for his personal issues way before he was publicly exposed, then I might believe his rehab was motivated by a sincere desire for change. Under these circumstances, after Jesse James has been dragged through the press by a growing number of mistresses claiming alleged affairs, I see his checking into rehab as a PR move and a last ditch attempt to fix his broken marriage.

Jesse James Nazi Photo Exposed

A few days ago, TMZ reported they had seen a Jesse James Nazi photo and it was going to be released shortly. This week, the Jesse James Nazi photo hit the internet, and it depicts Jesse James wearing a Nazi officer hat and gesturing in a Nazi salute. "Nazi photos" of alleged Jesse James mistress #1 Michelle Bombshell McGee first circulated online, and now it appears the rumors of a Jesse James Nazi photo were also true.

Jesse James alleged mistresses keep piling up, also. For those still keeping track, a la Tiger, James has multiple mistresses, including Michelle Bombshell McGee, Melissa Smith, Brigitte Daguerre, a woman who prefers to remain anonymous, and there are rumors of a possible fifth mistress floating around. Though the body count doesn't climb into double digits like Tiger Woods' alleged affairs, it's still a disturbing number of women in the Jesse James cheating scandal--and will there be more?

The big question that remains in the Jesse James mess is: if and or when Sandra Bullock will file for a divorce from Jesse James? Will the Jesse James Nazi photo push her further toward divorce or will his decision to enter rehab work in his favor and save his marriage? My prediction is that Sandra Bullock will eventually file for divorce from Jesse James; in fact, there rumblings today that she is moving ahead with divorce proceedings.

I'm not sure where the Jesse James scandal is headed but I don't believe that Sandra Bullock will stick around like Elin Woods. My heart still goes out to Sandra Bullock at this difficult time as she picks up the pieces of her broken marriage and mourns her shattered dreams of domestic bliss with husband Jesse James. There are many striking similarities between the Jesse James and Tiger Woods scandals, but there are some differences, such as how their wives deal with betrayal. Jesse James enters rehab, but I have a feeling that unlike Elin Woods, it won't be long before Sandra Bullock files divorce papers and extricates herself from Jesse James for good.
