Jesse James and Kat Von D Become an Instant Hot Couple

Jesse James and Kat Von D have become an instant hit on the red carpet. Kat Von D, the tattoo artist of "LA In" and "Miami Ink" fame has hooked up with Jesse James, star of "Monster Garage" and ex-husband of Sandra Bullock. Of course, their romance is met with lots of skepticism, as they became public only very shortly after James' divorce from Sandra Bullock was made final. Some pose the question of whether or not Kat Von D was having an affair with Jesse James around the time of the divorce, but there have been no credible reports that seem to suggest that that was the case.

Besides, Kat seems like a straight-up "no drama" type of girl who wouldn't go meddling in someone else's marriage.

The tattooed hotties have suddenly become one of Hollywood's hottest power couples...if you can call them that. Neither of them have the "oomph" of A-list status, such as Jesse James did when he was married to Bullock. Still yet, they are a paparazzi favorite.

They were recently caught on camera kissing. Prior to that, a lunch in Las Vegas started all the rumors which ended in them "coming out" as a couple.

Kat Von D is sort of Michelle Bombshell McGee mixed with Sandra Bullock - I know that will get me a lot of flack for saying, but hear me out. Kat's got the sensitivity of Sandra, yet the tattoos and attitude of McGee. (Although, Kat's tattoos are much better looking). She seems more of a "fit" for Jesse James.

Still yet, it seems as if he's jumping out of the frying pan and in to the fire. There have been reports that the two have already taken the next steps - he's meeting her family, and she's meeting his kids. Seems awfully fast, doesn't it? After all, his kids just lost their beloved stepmother, so it's gotta be confusing.

I also wonder what will happen if Kat Von D's family doesn't like him. We all know from watching LA Ink that family is very important to Kat, and that her brother and sister help her out tremendously. I can imagine they'd be skeptical of him breaking her heart - and if they voice their opinion I cannot help but wonder whose side she would take.

Still yet, Kat Von D and Jesse James have the true appearance of a "made for each other" couple - they've got the spunk (and tattoos!) to make it through the long haul. The question is...will they?
