Jesse James Out of Rehab Sans Wedding Ring

As reported by TMZ, Jesse James is now out of rehab and has also been spotted without his wedding ring. This may not come as a surprise given the overwhelming publicity over his many alleged affairs, during his marriage to Sandra Bullock.

However, when Jesse James entered rehab nearly a month ago, allegedly for sex addiction, he seemed absolutely determined to try and save his marriage to Sandra Bullock. Jesse voluntarily went into rehab clearly hoping that it would show Sandra that he was serious about repairing the damage he has caused. At that point in time, he was also still wearing his wedding ring.

Is Jesse James finally realizing that he may not be able to fix this mess he created?

Unfortunately, for Jesse James, there has been no indication that his attempts to salvage his marriage were anything other than futile, which may be why he has been seen without his wedding ring on. Sandra Bullock is under no obligation to put her heart and physical health in further jeopardy by remaining with an alleged serial cheater. It's doubtful that Jesse's small stint, or stunt, in rehab will be enough to sway his wife to reconcile with him.

Love is blind, but Sandra Bullock has been been startled wide awake by Jesse James' betrayal.

Sandra Bullock has been understandably silent since the news of her husband's serial cheating became public. There is little that Sandra can do that will not put her in a difficult position, even though it was Jesse James who created this entire mess.

In the court of public opinion, there are many camps:

One camp will believe that Sandra should have known that Jesse James was a bad boy and should not have been so blinded by love. However, the heart often wants to look past appearances and perhaps Sandra Bullock saw something beyond Jesse's bad boy image and body full of tattoos. A kind-hearted person often wants to see the good in people. Yet, if she does not divorce Jesse James, then she looks like she is naive.

Another camp will say that Sandra should show compassion and forgiveness and give Jesse James another chance.

Yet another camp will say that Sandra Bullock deserves a lot better and has every right to move on with her life and never look back.

Only time will tell what Sandra Bullock chooses to do with her marriage, but now that Jesse James is without his wedding ring, the signs of a reconciliation look bleak.

There is an old saying: You don't know what you got, until it is gone.

It is likely that Jesse James now sees how very true this is. Too bad Jesse did not realize what a great thing he had with Sandra Bullock, until it was too late. Perhaps if he had, his wedding ring would be a permanent fixture.
