Jessi Slaughter (Kerligirl13): An Emotional YouTube Breakdown, Protective Custody
Is Jessi Slaughter Just Another Sensational Emotional Trainwreck?
This young girl is definitely disturbed; posting nude photos of yourself at any age on a social networking site is not wise. The response to her actions has been lots of hateful comments, unwanted pizza deliveries, and threats against the 11 year old.
Not only that, she told people via her video to make "brain slushies" or that they should get AIDS. I'm still in awe of the rant.
She also allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with an adult band member.
The situation is so bad that her parents had to enlist the help of authorities to put their daughter in protective custody until the whole thing can blow over. Her YouTube account has been canceled and we won't likely see the girl for a long, long time.
So why is it that we are intrigued by the girl's rants? Perhaps it's that we are a train-wreck loving society. Make a great, bloody mess and we are all ready to watch it in all its glory.
Case and point - Lindsay Lohan. She really hasn't released a movie in a number of years (although she has been working on a couple) yet she's all over the media. The reason? She's got a horrific substance abuse problem that's landed her in and out of the court system and even in to the slammer.
Brittany Spears - now that's she's not out shaving her heads and letting her boys ride in the car with no car seat no one speaks of her. It was only while she was having a meltdown - never after she became sane again - that we heard about her each and every day.
Charlie Sheen - the only time we hear about this guy is when he's having arguments with his wife, or there are allegations of abuse.
Mel Gibson...aie aie aie...I don't know where to start on this one, other than to say he's the only one in this list that's even coming close to Jessi Slaughter's insanity.
I guess if life were a highway and Jessi Slaugther was an accident, the highway would be all backed up from all the on-lookers trying to figure out what happened. You know what? We'll never be able to figure it out, either.
