Jessica Biel Tops the Most Dangerous Celebrity List for Searches

Karen Barnes
If you search and click on any link for Jessica Biel, you open your computer up to spyware and viruses. That's what McAfee is saying about this celebrity. Many people detest McAfee's antivirus software for various reasons and will still clear of it.

McAfee's antivirus software is beside the point when it comes to the most dangerous celebrity searches. Last year, Brad Pitt hit the target for the most dangerous celebrity searches. This year it is Jessica Biel.

Biel and Pitt aren't alone. Four other celebrities share the most dangerous celebrity searches on the internet. Beyonce, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Brady, and Jessica Simpson follow suit behind Jessica Biel in the list McAfee has put together.

This is the first time I have heard that Jessica Biel searches can wreak havoc on your computer with viruses and software. As far as the celebrities themselves go, they are harmless on the internet. It's the hackers who attach the malicious spyware and viruses to websites about the stars that cause the dangerous searches. When a celebrities popularity soars, this is when hackers love to find ways to mess with people and their computers.

Although Jessica Biel seems to be one of the celebrity search targets, it is always best to have an antivirus loaded and fully functional on your computer to help watch for these types of threats. Antivirus software can't always catch the things hackers attach to their websites. Hackers seem to stay one step ahead of antivirus software in some cases. Getting rid of the nasty spyware and viruses can be a headache for the Average Joe.

Don't let the story of Jessica Biel send you into a panic mode. Just be aware of the sites you visit and trust. If you feel uncomfortable about a site, don't click on it. Nine times out of ten, your gut instinct will steer you clear of hacker sites.

Mary Camden, played by Jessica Biel, was notorious for getting into trouble on 7th Heaven. Even though Jessica Biel managed to shake her Mary Camden bad girl roll on television movies, her name on the other hand hasn't.

I felt 7th Heaven wasn't the same after Jessica left the show. She felt she needed to shed the bad girl image she had gained from the show to gain further characters. I can't say that I blame her.

I do hope the news of her new found fame doesn't hurt her fans wanting to keep abreast of what the young actress is up to these days.
