Jessica Simpson Caught on Tape in a Near Stupor (Video Link)

Jessica Simpson appears to have imbibed just a little too much last night (January 24) and unfortunately her actions (that is, lack of action) were caught on tape.

The pretty star was leaving Katsuya in West Hollywood with fiancé Eric Johnson and as they exited it became obvious very quickly that Jessica wasn't her usual sharp and happy self.

Instead, Simpson seemed dazed at nighttime, and Johnson can be seen carefully directing Jessica to a waiting car. Even the paparazzi can be heard asking if Jessica is all right.

We can always count on Jessica to come up with clever phrases and witticisms that entertain and the singer did just that this past weekend when she tweeted about Johnson's rear end.

Simpson tweeted the following: "Saying my prayers before bedtime. Thank you Lord for blessing me with a Man that has the perfect Tush," Laying my hands upon it with peace :)"

And of course, there's the famous line from one episode of the MTV show Newlyweds Nick and Jessica, " Is this chicken, what I have, or is this fish? I know it's tuna, but it says 'Chicken by the Sea.' " Hmmmm....

Perhaps Jessica simply had a little too much, um, tush, Monday night?
