Jessica Simpson on New York Cover; Milas Kunis on W Cover in Feathers, Lingerie (Photo Links)

Jessica Simpson graces the cover of New York and talks fashion, while Black Swan's Mila Kunis poses for W in feathers and lingerie.

Both women are hot topics right now, but perhaps it's Jessica Simpson who has taken the masses by surprise.

Blond bimbo? No, think leader of a billion dollar fashion empire.

Simpson tells New York "I never thought I'd be some fashion mogul!", but that she is. In fact, in terms of sales, Simpson's fashion line is thought to be heading toward the $1 billion mark this year.

Simpson explains in the article, "We try not to set trends, but you need your trending pieces in every delivery. But those go fast: What you really need is your basics for every type of person. When it comes to other celebrity brands, I think a lot of people do a great job, but it can't be all about them. Everybody doesn't want to just look like the celebrity, because they can't. They just want one element of that style."

And Mila Kunis of Black Swan is still blazing a trail and name for herself. She's generally impeccably dressed (remember the Golden Globes, click here) and the SAG Awards (click here)?

Although she's not wearing a designer gown on the cover of W, Kunis does don a pink bar along with a Chanel silk organza coat edged with feathers.
