Jessica Simpson's, the Price of Beauty Set for VH1...Who's Watching It?

Melanie Dee
Jessica Simpson sat on my back burner for quite some time. I love her songs; primarily her older songs. I hated her collection of edible cosmetics, and didn't really get why she ever released a line of fake hair extensions to Target. I did however love watching her and Nick on the Newlyweds reality show that aired years ago.

I ask myself though, would I watch her newest upcoming reality show The Price of Beauty, which is scheduled to air on VH1 sometime this year?

Hmm...

that's a tough call, especially considering the reality shows title. After looking into it a bit though, it seems that the reality show will follow Jessica around the globe as she meets with other women, in different cultures to get a look at some of their beauty techniques.

Ever since her weight gain, Jessica has been under the radar for all the wrong reasons; her size!

While I have believed for quite some time that Jessica was OK with her new curves, this show makes me wonder how OK she really is with her new size.

Personally I find her to look complete normal, so why she was ever under the spotlight for her weight is still beyond me.

I'm not really sure what The Price of Beauty will deliver, but I will likely catch the first episode. If it manages to capture me at the premier I'll stick by and watch; if not, I'll channel surf for something else. I really love reality TV, but lately VH1 has yet to impress me ever since the whole Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant from hell, and the fact that they never gave loyal fans a reunion show to Real Chance of Love 2; oh and of course you cannot forget the fact that not a single reality love show has yet to hatch a real long term relationship.

Anyhow, cheers to hoping that The Price of Beauty delivers something worthy of tuning in to.

No I will not be watching this show. I cant even imagine what Jessica Simpson thinks she can bring to a show. she fails at everything she does and she sure is not consistent with anything but her clothes line.

Well there is at least one reality love show that ended in a relationship - Trista from the bachelorette is still going strong! But she was annoying :-D Anyway, I always forget about Vh1 when it comes to reality so I don't know if I'll watch or not. Maybe when they reply the whole series as a marathon, that is when I usually catch Vh1 shows :) Thanks for sharing!
