Jessica Simpson's Speculated 11/11/11 Wedding is Delayed
Jessica Simpson and former NFL star, Eric Johnson have decided to delay any immediate plans for a wedding, according to PEOPLE.com. It had been speculated that the couple were about to tie the knot on 11/11/11, the one year anniversary date of their engagement, but that won't be happening the way it looks.
Due to Simpson's unplanned pregnancy, which she announced to the world via "twitter" on Halloween, the happy couple has decided to postpone their wedding plans until after their baby is born. Sources said "they're still committed to getting married, but it is going to be a later date then originally planned, so they can enjoy this happy time in their lives." They're both supposedly very happy about their upcoming bundle of joy.
"It's true, I'm going to be mummy", Jessica Simpson tweeted, alongside a photo of herself dressed as a mummy. She chose Halloween to confirm the rumors that had been flying around for some time about her suspected pregnancy. Jessica Simpson and fiance' Eric Johnson have been dating since May 2010, and became engaged about 6 months later.
The "not so lucky in love" star was previously married to Nick Lachey in 2002. The marriage, which lasted 3 years made the couple famous when a TV reality show, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica debuted, based on their marriage. Later, her very public relationship with Dallas Cowboy football star Tony Romo, which ended in 2009 also had a sad ending for Simpson, when Romo broke off the relationship.
Although her wedding is on hold, another debut will be taking place on 11/11/11 for Jessica Simpson and her sister Ashlee. The pair will reportedly be visiting Belk in Crabtree Valley Mall to unveil a new clothing line for tween girls, the sisters have been working on. The collection is said to cover everything from denim to dresses, with a little jewelry to round it off.
It looks like the upcoming year 2012 will be a very busy one for celebrity star, Jessica Simpson.
