Jesus Does Not Hate You

Jesus Does Not Hate You. God Does Not Hate You. He may be angry with you and hate what you are doing, but it is a lie to claim that Jesus hates people. I once read an author who said it did not make sense to say that "Jesus hates the sin, but loves the sinner." It don't matter if it makes sense or not because God's word does not make sense to the world, but in this case the statement does make sense and plenty of it.

The statement that Jesus "hates the sin, but loves the sinner" is similar to a statement that a parent "hates the child's behavior, but loves the child."

When you tell some "God hates you" you are not only lying to that person, but also dooming them to hell without even giving them a chance to repent. I happen to attend a wonderful, wonderful church right now. But at times I have encountered pastors and other church leaders who have told me, in essence, "You need to get a church home, but you sure as h___ can't come here." Those are not the exact words they use, but it is the message they send.

Why is it these churches don't want me? It's because I ask questions they don't like. Questions as to why they take the positions they do and I expect an honest answer based on scripture. Questions like "why do you require a covenant for your members?" ( a covenant is a way to deny freedom and exercise communist like control over your members). Why do you use charismatic style music? I might even ask a question about something I heard in their sermons or wonder why they call themselves a Bible Church.

I believe that Salvation is by Grace alone through Faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. However, if we are going to be obedient servants of Jesus Christ it seems to you do need to obey. This means you do not proclaim the satanic based lie that God hates you. He doesn't. Like a parent may hate the disobedience of a child, the parent does not hate the child, but loves him or her. For example, say, after warning of all the dangers and encouraging your teenage daughter to dress modestly, she decides to, behind your back, wear a super short micro-mini skirt even to the point of showing her underwear and an immodest tube top on a date with someone and the date goes fine. Do you hate her? I sure hope not. You still love her, I hope. You may never let her go on a date again until you have died of old age, but that's a different story.

God is the creator of the entire human race, those who claim God hates you are liars. And God hates the action of telling a lie. God does not hate the homosexual, He hates the sin of the homosexual act. God does not hate the lesbian, He hates the sin of the lesbian act. These are but a couple of the sins that God wants you to repent of, but he does not hate you. If God hated the homosexual or lesbian person He would have no desire for them to repent, He would want them to stay where they are at. Now if you choose to continue to live in your sin, then you have already condemned yourself because you love darkness rather than light and refuse to come to the light (which is Jesus).

John 3:1-21 makes it very clear that Jesus loves you and wants you to be saved by His power, His grace, and his mercy. Luke 13:1-5 is addressed to people like those who think every thing is God's judgment, but Jesus twice in these verses tell these people (Vss. 3 & 5) that they are the ones who need to repent.

Accept Jesus into your heart right now, simply ask Jesus to save you and come into your heart and He will, then go find yourself a loving, take the Holy Scripture literally as God's Word church that preaches the truth, not the God hates you lie, but a God loves you and wants you to repent and be saved from hell church.
