We learn from Jesus that we are too Love God and Love our neighbor, if we keep these two commands we have kept the whole law. The bible tells us many things, for instance there is NO JEW NOR GREEK and NO MALE NOR FEMALE in the Kingdom of God. I do believe that homeosexuality is a sin, however I do not believe that we need to go around sticking the Word of God up peoples butts! We need to LIVE IT!! If we truly are living as Christ did and loving those people eventually they would see. WE ARE TO BE FISHERS OF MEN, NOT CLEANERS OF THEM!! We are to love them and lead them to the Lord it is God's job with the Holy Spirit to clean them.
Why are so many Christians (I include my self in that) going around with there high and mighty attitutudes? I hold my head high and have taken Christ off the cross and walk with Him daily with the power and authority that He so graceously gave me, but in NO WAY would I ever walk around with so much hate that I turn people off, especially those that are lost. My husband is a self proclaimed aethist, but I love him dearly. God put us where we are and wants me to love him and just walk with God, He will do the rest. No wonder there are so many that are so "anti-Christ", the Christ that they see in people like K.B. is nothing but hate, it is not presented with love. If we were truly doing as the Bible said and living with the faith OF Christ and actually living with the Holy Spirit and walking as such...the Christ these people would see would be a loving one and would draw them in. People like K.B. and her 1611 KJV and her Pharisee laws run people off!! Those Laws were set there for people to realize they need God, they were not set there for us 2006 years later to be walking around and yelling with a flipping bullhorn...REPENT OR YOU WILL BURN IN HELL!! Yeah that sure sounds attractive (rolling my eyes). LOVE FOLKS!! It calls comes down to love, Christ paid the price with His life and He is love....what is so hard about walking with love? Why is loving not easy? Most likely people like K.B. have a hard time loving cause no body loved them and they have yet to see the love and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, but when they face Him...OOOOOHHH What a day that will be! K.B. and others like them will have to answer "Why did you not love my brother?" Do you think K.B. and others will be able to answer that? I know I will be able to face Christ on my day, heck I face Him everyday, and ya know what? I can truly say I love everyone! It is tough and God knew it would be, but we have to His word says...LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF!!
So come on everyone, can't we all just get along? Can't we all just love eachother?

You're right on the mark with that article! Some fellow Christians have their "holier than thou" noses in the sky. In John 8:7, Christ asks those among the many people getting ready to stone a woman for adultry, "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone." If we were to ask that same question today, some of those "stonecasters" would probably start throwing stones because they are that high and mighty. Neely, I believe that men really think that they are so much mightier than God. Pride definitely goes before a fall...look at the Titanic story. The man who had the ship built proclaimed that even God couldn't sink that ship, that man's pride fell hard and took some innocent people right along with him. It is truly sad to say that we live in a world of naysayers when it comes to the word of God. Keep writing Neely, you have a wonderful gift (and I'm almost positive you know you got it from the Almighty ;)

Yes I agree. I know that sometimes my articles come out funny and are not always edited right, but I just start writing and let loose. It just hurts me to see that there is no love in this "movement". My faith has nothing to do with "religion", but it has everything to do with a spiritual relationship with my God. Thank you so much for your input I appreciate it:)
I will preface by saying my beliefs sound similar to your husbands..the christianity you represent is far more palatable to me than what is represented in the article you reference. Sadly, though-his seems to be the position of the christian movement in America today.
