Jesus: Son of God or Wise Prophet?
A popular misconception that is currently floating around some of the more liberal churches (and some non-Christian religions as well) is that Jesus was just a good man, a good teacher, or a prophet. The problem with this is that on multiple occasions, Jesus Himself stated that He is the Son of God. So it stands to reason that either He was in fact the Christ, or He was a liar and a blasphemer.
Who would listen to a teacher or prophet who was so often wrong about his own identity? Who would pay heed to someone who claims to be that which he is not? Many times throughout Christ's teachings here on earth, He made reference to Himself as the Son of God. If a prophet speaks falsely, he is no prophet of God, but a deceiver. A prophet's teachings must be 100% correct, 100% of the time.
In Matthew 16, Jesus nails down all the rumors and whisperings that were going about concerning Him. He asked His disciples who they think He is. They start out by telling Him all the names that others have given to Him, but eventually Peter is brave enough to speak truth. "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16:16 ASV) This would have been a perfect moment for Jesus to set the record straight if He had been only a man. Instead, He confirmed what Peter had said, "And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 16:17 ASV)
What's more, others recognized Jesus as the Christ. At His baptism, God announced Christ's deity, "and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17 ASV) Even the demons knew who He was and trembled, "And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" (Matthew 8:29 ASV)
So now, the same question asked of those disciples is posed to each of us. "He saith unto them, But who say ye that I am?" (Matthew 16:15 ASV) This is a question none of us can avoid because it has eternal ramifications. "I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (John 8:24 ASV) Who do you believe Christ is?

How foolish you people of little faith, he who has known Jesus knows he is our divine brother is one in same trinity with his father. Jesus and his father GOD are one. Ive seen him and many others have too I cry when feel his presence.
Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of GOD. Islam is a false religion, they dont accept Jesus as son of GOD but only a Prophet.OUr bible warns us christians about false prophets and about anyone who says that Jesus is not the son of God is not of GOD.
Ahmad may be right. The only references Jesus made to being %22son of god%22 are in the later texts such as John%2C Philemon%2C Acts. Remember%2C these writings are believed to have been penned after the fall of Jerusalem when the Christian church had a chance to build a power structure.
If Satan did not have the courage to go against God, well... lets just say the world would be a very different place. I believe in the temptation of Christ that Satan was aware he would not win, but he still had to try. He knew how important it was that Jesus live sin-free on this earth.
As for Jesus not ever claiming to be God, simply not true. He may not have used those words exactly, but there are numerous scripture passages where He either claimed divinity by His words or actions. When asked directly in interrogation whether He is the Son of God, Jesus simply replied "I am." (Mark 14:61-62) Apparently the religious leaders of the time understood what He was saying... check out Matthew 27:43 sometime.
Then there's the Son of Man argument. The phrase "Son of Man," as used by Christ, comes from the old testament in some of the Messianic prophecies. By calling himself the Son of Man, Jesus was claiming to be the Messiah, the one who came to save the Jews. He used thi

Adam was called his son also. and i also have fount 25 verses in the bible that states there is one god and no other like him god read James 2:19 Mark 12:29-30
I do not believe that Jesus is god because I do not see any of his creations, have you? What has Jesus ever created? yes, absolutely nothing. Is it not strange that this so called son of God has created nothing at all? I guess he is not so godly after all. He roams around in the creation of the one God but not of his own . On top of that gets killed by mere humans which he takes form from.
He is capable of creating miracles, yes, but it is known that some prophets are blessed with miracles as well. Some are known to talk to animals, some are known to talk to the people whom had passed away, one can cut the ocean into two, one can be burned alive and come out without a scratch, these are the stories which talks about miracles yes, but not being immortal. All of these prophets were finally returned to the one God when the time comes as did Jesus.
The idea of god having a son is not right. It creates too much questions. Why is Jesus not a girl? why is he white? Why only one son of
