It all changed, however, once I stepped on board the Jet Blue Airways. The trip was a coincidence actually. I was traveling to Orlando, and I decided to fly out of JFK as opposed to my normal Newark departure. I was comparing prices when I noticed that the Jet Blue Airways was at that moment giving me the best rate: $200 for a round trip! The Jet Blue Airways had been in limelight for a while now, because of their extraordinary advertisements but I had always considered them to be a small airline, trying to act all big. And was I proven wrong!
I decided to fly with the Jet Blue Airways. I had an e-ticket, which is a norm for me now, as I approached the check in area. There were numerous places to insert your e-ticket, for which their efficiency needs to be praised.
Entering the plane, on the door I read a sign which read that it had been delivered by Airbus only two months ago. It even had the smell of freshness in it, like in a new car. The condition of leather seats was proof of their young age, and I was immensely impressed. Another feature of the Jet Blue Airways worth mentioning here is that there are monitors attached to every seat. Like that wasn't enough, the Jet Blue Airways has specially arranged for satellite cable, and all channels were available for viewing, unlike the other planes that offered only 10 repeated channels.
While in flight, I made myself comfortable to every facility that the Jet Blue Airways had to provide. Not only was the cable TV a godsend, but the true perfection was added with the delicious food that tasted like it was prepared properly, unlike all the other airlines that have served microwaved food.
The Jet Blue Airways boast always 'being-on-time' , as a part of their marketing strategy. On almost all of the flights that I have traveled with the Jet Blue Airways, I've been either on time, or before it, with the exception of only one time, when we were a mere 10 minutes late!
The only drawback of the Jet Blue Airways at the moment is that it is available in only 14 cities. But this is negligible, as they have only 15 jets to offer. It is definitely a good start. Furthermore, the Jet Blue Airways are reportedly said to have 100 planes in the production, as we speak. I've read that they are also fitting in fewer seats than normal, to make our traveling and stretching out easier!
Overall, the Jet Blue Airways are a good buy, worth your time, and money. I will give them 5 stars, and recommend you to try them, too. They do not have any visible flaws, except for the lack of planes, which they are going to cover soon!
