Those looking to purchase the pass will need to purchase the pass by August 21st, and no later. The deal can be purchased directly through JetBlue's website, and should not be a hassle. The link to the program lies on the main page of JetBlue's website.
The pass allows fliers to travel between any of the airline's 56 international and domestic destinations between September 8 to October 8. JetBlue reports no blackouts, or limited seat access. Those who purchase the pass will also receive 35 TrueBlue points for buying the pass.
While 35 TrueBlue points sounds like a lot, it will still take another 65 points to receive the one round-trip flight. However, long flights including those from New York to Oakland, only give the customer 6 points. In the end, 35 points might not be too bad after all.
While one might think this is an expensive price to pay, consider this: a round-trip from San Jose, CA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, will cost $274 alone. Include a trip to an international destination, and the savings already show.
While it is a bargain for some, for others it might not be worth the price of $599. Those looking for a one-time trip in the month of September would be better checking out a single round-trip ticket from JetBlue or other carriers, including Southwest and Northwest Airlines. Currently, JetBlue is offering flights for $79 from New York's JFK to Fort Lauderdale each way.
Before one makes the purchase of this unlimited flight program, they should make sure JetBlue is located in the city they want to depart from. Cities including St. Louis and Detroit will be excluded, since JetBlue is not located at those airports.
Popular domestic destinations of JetBlue include: New York City, Orlando, Chicago, and Denver. There are also a few popular destinations for international travel including: Cancun Mexico, San Juan Porto Rico, and Santiago Dominican Republic.
Those still interested in the program will still need to read the fine print. All flights must be booked 3 days prior to departure, and missed flights will incur a $100 fee. In addition to the $100 fee, the person will not be able to fly again until the fee has been paid for missing the flight.
The JetBlue Unlimited Flight program is a great deal for those looking to make at least 2 flights during September 8 to October 8. Those interested in taking only one flight during this time will be better off purchasing individual tickets, opposed to the Unlimited Flight deal.
