The Chair I Sit on to Write Great Articles for Associated Content

All I wanted was a nice office chair to complement my new purchase, a Z-line desk. And It had to be lightweight, durable and come with lumbar support. Simple right? But In reality, not so simple!

After several failed attempts at other office stores, I finally spotted one at Office Depot. It was a Jettra Mid-Back Mesh Chair by RS To Go.

What struck me about It was how well it was constructed. For starters it's made out of a heavy-duty base and metal frame. Perfect for the many long hours I spend sitting in front of my computer. I wanted something that was extremely durable...and this is!

Even though the Jettra is designed for moderate use (3-5 hours), I've sat in it comfortably for over 8 hours.

What I especially like is the gray mesh material the backrest is made out of. It's designed so air freely circulates throughout it. And it turns out it's extremely comfortable! I never have to worry about sticking to the seat in the summer or sitting in a cold chair in the winter. It automatically adjusts with the weather. Plus it features my favorite accessory, the lumbar cushion. I had to have this because I spend a lot of time at my computer and I need the extra support it provides. I never feel achy or have lower back pain sitting in this chair. Plus it's easy to get up from. Although chairs with this feature usually run in the $200 range, I bought mine at the bargain price of $128.00. It was a close-out.

A couple of other features that I feel are noteworthy: the seat cushion, the height adjustment, seat adjustment, the armrests and the castor's.

First of all, the seat cushion is perfectly contoured and provides excellent support. Personally I think this should be a top priority for anybody when buying a chair. Since I've had my Jettra I never get a butt-ache sitting on it because it's so cushy.

Now as far as the height adjustment goes it has a pneumatic lift which I can easily raise and lower to my comfort level. Same goes with the armrests and seat adjustment. They're easily adjustable when you have to raise or lower them. It hardly took any effort at all. Plus it fits perfectly with my new desk. And to support all of this weight are the 4 heavy duty castor's, which let me easily move around in.

It's that attention to detail that makes the Jettra so special. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this brand for anyone looking for a comfortable office chair.

Lastly, this is another one of those projects that you have to put it together yourself, which is my least favorite part. Although I could've paid an extra $8 to have it done at Office Depot the clerk told me I could easily do it myself.

Glad I took his advice because it really was....easy!
