We can still hear your voice,
We can still see your face,
But we can't see what the world could have been,
What it should have been, if you had lived.

Post a CommentI still get chills when I watch reruns of him getting shot, and remember walking home from school that day in a daze, coming in to find my mother in tears.
Brilliant words.

Well done Abby!
It was a memorable day for all the wrong reasons.
Very good.
I feel sorry for the secret service agent, now in his eighties who feels he should have taken the bullet for President Kennedy. All these years, he has beaten himself up because he didn't jump on the motorcade car two seconds sooner to shield the President from bullets. The poor man! Yes, it was a horrible tragedy. But the Lord has reasons for taking our loved ones from us when he does. This includes beloved Presidents.
