Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy Announce Split Up on Twitter

Elle
As seen in the past with the divorce of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Lindsey Lohan and Samantha Ronsen, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have made an internet split by announcing their separation on Twitter. The public announcement, made in advance of gossipy tabloid rumors, suggested the two had made an ammicable decision to move on.

Jim Carrey Tweeted, "Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay! ?;^>.

Then Jenny added by Tweeting back, "Im so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.

But this isn't the first time the couple has split up. Jenny admitted in an interview that she had split with Jim in the past but that the physical attraction was what kept them together. Maybe they are just having problems and this is another temporary vacation from each other. They did not announce a firm divorce or admit to any legal action at this point or offer any validation for the split. So, we may see them back in each others arms again. With Hollywood, you never know.

Their breakup was not surprising to me in the least. The Twitter thing though......a bit bizarre to me.
