Jim Jones to Join G-Unit?

Jim Jones, who is the arbitrary thug and spokesman for the 'City of God', has been in talks with joining the G-Unit rap group without causing dissension within Diplomat Records. Jones was said to have appeared on the Black Entertainment Television channel, video-show, Rap City, to make such a brave proclamation as to considering signing to the Unit. Jimmy by industry insiders are said to be a free agent looking for perhaps a new single record deal signing. This rap artist alone has on four occasions almost received a gold plaque from the starting sales of his first four albums, helping to lead the underground hip-hop movement over recent years. Those same four albums are probably certified gold right now, although the Sound-Scan numbers aren't quite clear as to how many units per album sold were made for each specific album release tally as of this current year. Jones is quite the thug entrepreneur as the sly and ruthless persona he personifies, yet is an ingenious businessman as well as his articulate business co-founder and boss-comrade, Cameron Giles.

Rumors on the street have been circulating about the recently past shooting of one Cam'ron (Cameron Giles). Word on the street is two different stories. The first story came from Cam'ron's song, "Get 'Em Daddy (Remix)", which implies Cameron was doing something in his neighborhood which he shouldn't have been doing. I will not specifically say what the terms were, but a second story comes from G-Unit don, 50 Cent. In both songs "Funeral Music" and "Hold On," which the latter being G-Unit South Records President and Rap Artist, Young Buck's solo appearance with 50 Cent featured, 50 Cent taunts the Dip-Set (Diplomats) Leader & Founder, Cam'ron by mocking his music and recent shooting as to hint on certain actions and accusations. Besides, Jim Jones works beneath his friend and shot victim Cam'ron, so where does the loyalty lye with these street records being aimed at certain opponents of specific rap camps? Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson had verbal public feuds with Dip-Set South affiliates Lil Wayne and Baby of Cash Money Records. This was over Baby and Wayne's very public kissing of one another on the mouth as men, implying themselves having family ties sort of like Father and Son, to the effect of 50 Cent implying both were homosexual on his latest track, "Part Time Lover". Also, based upon the latter story, it was implied from 50 Cent that Jim Jones was having a new lustrous and more successful career on the verge compared to his mentor Cameron's career. 5o Cent basically addressed the story of as going that Cam'ron was trying to sabotage Jimmy's career out of a business partner's source of jealousy. How could Jim Jones trust an infamous rapper within Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, especially when Jimmy has specific business and personal ties to Diplomat Records and Cash Money Records artists, who are now in verbal warfare with a 50 Cent?

As a hip-hop fan myself, I think that it would be a great move for the G-Unit brand because of Jim Jones lavish styling of his own personal "Ballin'" brand. However, isn't personal or friendly family suppose to come first at the end of the day, or is it really about the almighty dollar which everybody loves so dearly? If Jim Jones does decide to roll with and become a member of G-Unit Records or G-Unit East Records, how will Tony Yayo or Lloyd Banks keep up with Jones' constant swagger and suave braggadocio? Over at G-Unit Records, Mobb Deep's prestigious signing to the elite hip-hop record label didn't fare for them with any extra album sales of their last Mobb Deep album. Seriously, adding Jim Jones to the G-Unit roster of hip-hop emcees and hustlers would be a great addition, but would this help Jim Jones gain any new fans at all? A major record label while backing its music artist is suppose to mean bigger record sales with a capability for certain recorded singles to be able to popularly crossover with massive success. Not too many hip-hop acts or brands have done well on a major label any time soon for rap. Maybe Jimmy should look at other offers and alternatives to a major record label and instead continue on his small or major indie record label pathway for much better success. Time will only tell if Jim Jones, also known as One Eyed Willy, will ever sign with G-Unit Records. It would most definitely be a sight to see!

First of all, Jim Jones, Dipset, and G-G-G-G Unit are all butt. So it would not make a difference if Jim Jones goes from one smelly label to another. Jim Jones is still going to stank.

I've actually heard from other news outlets Jim Jones will not be joining G-Unit. It was all an interview with 50 Cent and Jim Jones. Jim was said in another news outlet of saying it was a good look by 50 who was doing an interview on BET. It would be nice to see G-Unit do some work with Dip Set. It's all good for hip-hop I think!
