The documentary called American Landing, explains alot. It goes into detail about the scene of Monterey, the importance of this concert for Jimi, how a year before Jimi was an unknown musician in America. Then being discovered by Chas Chandler, who brought him into England. Then getting the Experience together, and making a top selling debut album. Even with all the success, Jimi was still unknown in America. After the documentary, the concert begins.

After watching this, I was just amazed of how well this was put together. The music was just incredible. Hendrix was just awesome. I think this concert is way better then Woodstock. I say this, because Jimi was already established at Woodstock. At Monterey, he was unknown, and had to be successful. This a must have and must buy for any fan of Jimi Hendrix.
