Popular "Margaritaville" singer Jimmy Buffett was hospitalized Tuesday night after falling off the stage and injuring his head during a concert in Sydney, Australia.

A video of the fall has been posted on TMZ and can be seen here.

According to the Australian Telegraph the legendary laid-back rocker was performing in the final concert of a four-night stand in Sydney with his Coral Reefer band when he sang, "It's been a lovely cruise, I'm sorry it's ended" and fell face first into the crowd.

Stunned and upset Parrotheads told the paper that Buffett, 64, hit his head either on the ground or on a metal bar just in front of the first row. Security and paramedics quickly rushed in to tend to him before eventually taking Buffett off in an ambulance.

TMZ reported that Buffett lay unconscious for up to 10 minutes.

Jimmy Buffett is now in stable condition at Sydney's St. Vincent's hospital after being treated for a gash in his head.
