It's interesting that J.J. Abrams has somehow found the secret to keeping his film details under wraps, and that in a world that is dominated by entertainment news daily, he has been able to keep most of this new project a complete secret. There are a couple of great things that could make this film even more interesting, primarily that Steven Spielberg is involved in the creation of this film. Simply having Spielberg involved ups the ante for the film, and with the recent success that Abrams has found in several franchises (including Star Trek) he has placed himself among the big name directors in the industry. Will he strike gold again with Super 8 though?
The first Super 8 trailer is more of a teaser than anything else, but early reports of what that trailer will reveal are already creating a buzz across the Internet. It's going to be a classic science fiction picture at its heart based in the 1970s, according to Entertainment Weekly. Beyond that we don't want to spoil anything else unless our readers want to have it spoiled (click on link at end of article for more details). The Super 8 trailer will say enough when it debuts in front of Iron Man 2, so most audiences will be able to enjoy the trailer without any preconceived notions of what they should be looking for. It will be an exciting moment all its own that will probably add to the allure of Iron Man 2's opening weekend.
