J.J. Abrams Super 8 Trailer Premieres in Front of Iron Man 2

J.J. Abrams Super 8 trailer comes out tonight. The first trailer from J.J. Abrams Super 8 film will premiere in front of Iron Man 2, starting tonight at midnight in theaters around the country. This film has had a lot of secrecy surrounding it, much as Abrams was able to achieve with his film Cloverfield a couple summers ago. That ended up drawing a lot of attention to Cloverfield when the film finally made it to the trailer stage because nobody knew what to expect from the film. They were able to do it again, this time with the movie Super 8, which could take a lot of theater goers by surprise when the trailer debuts in front of Iron Man 2 this weekend.

It's interesting that J.J. Abrams has somehow found the secret to keeping his film details under wraps, and that in a world that is dominated by entertainment news daily, he has been able to keep most of this new project a complete secret. There are a couple of great things that could make this film even more interesting, primarily that Steven Spielberg is involved in the creation of this film. Simply having Spielberg involved ups the ante for the film, and with the recent success that Abrams has found in several franchises (including Star Trek) he has placed himself among the big name directors in the industry. Will he strike gold again with Super 8 though?
