The final few days before fans of the popular Harry Potter series get the first of the two big Harry Potter events have arrived. July is a Harry Potter packed month with the final book, 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' being released at midnight on July 21st and the fifth movie, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' hitting cinemas around the world on July 11th or 12th, depending on which country you live in. This week saw the London premiere of the fifth film take place, where J.K Rowling herself joined the stars of the movies, reports Reuters.

The London premiere of the fifth film, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' took place on the night of July 3rd at the city's famous Leicester Square. The atmosphere was truly magical with a Ministry of Magic recreated by the organisers of the premier.

The horrible weather of pouring rain and thunderstorms didn't keep determined Harry Potter fans away. Many die-hard fans had even camped out over night to ensure they got a great spot to see the stars and maybe even meet them. A large portion of the waiting fans consisted of teenage girls hoping to catch a glimpse of the film's stars, particularly Daniel Radcliffe. Racliffe who plays Harry Potter in the films said of all the attention he was getting from the girls, "I can't complain. It's rather wonderful really," he said, according to Reuters.

When Harry Potter author, J.K Rowling arrived waiting fans attempted to squeeze even the tiniest of clues about the final book out of her. However, J.K. Rowling has yet to crack under the pressure of fans to give out important clues. In fact the details of the final book, particularly if Harry Potter survives, has been a closely guarded secret, that even Rowling's family are kept in the dark about.

When asked about the book J.K Rowling said, according to Time, "I'll want know what the people in my house think of it." She also said about finishing the book, "Finishing it was very, very emotional. It was a combination of relief and sadness really."

The darkest book so far translated for the big screen is being hailed as the best Harry Potter film so far, by fans who have been lucky enough to see it. In 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', Harry is struggling with a number of issues these internal struggles and the increasing danger of the wizarding world make this Harry Potter film a little to dark for younger children.

Critic's reviews of the film so far have been mixed. But the reviews by Harry Potter fans have so far been very positive. Fans and the cast alike have expressed their joy at the excellent performance by Imelda Stuanton, who plays the evil Professor Umbridge. Reviews have also said that the three main stars, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have put in excellent performances, showing how much their acting ability has progressed since the first film.

When asked about his emotionally challenging role in 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix', Daniel Radcliffe said, according to Time, "They're more challenging but that's what makes them more exciting for me as an actor. That's a lot more fun to do than just the action side of things."
