With a release date for the 5th movie set only 10 days prior to the release of the book, fans are assured to be able to get their Potter fix well into the next few months.
The movie adaptation of the 5th book in the series Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, has many of the previous cast members returning, as well as some new faces for the adaptation series. Many of the returning characters other than the main cast, such as Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), other previous characters are returning as well. Of course, one of those is Ralph Fiennes, reprising his role as Lord Voldemort, the primary villain of the series, whom fans of the movie have only been hearing about until the previous installment, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, where Voldemort finally made a physical appearance.
Other returning cast members include: Brendan Gleeson (Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), David Thewlis (Remus Lupin), Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Alan Rickman (Severus Snape), Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid), and Michael Gambon, reprising his role as Professor Dumbledore, which he has held since the 3rd movie in the series, previously held by Richard Harris who passed away on October 25th, only 22 days before the release of the 2nd movie where he played Dumbledore for the final time.
Many of the fans of the movie are planning to camp out at local theaters worldwide to have the chance to get the first tickets to the movie, touted as the darkest in the series so far. With the return of Voldemort and his Death Eaters, a great battle is getting ready to ensue with the stake of all at Hogwarts at stake, Potter finds himself the leader of a band of young wizards and witches posed and preparing to oppose Voldemort.
Helmed by director David Yates, also set to direct the next movie in the series, and with the screenplay written by Michael Goldenberg, writer and director of 1996's Bed of Roses and writer of 1997's Contact. With the help of author J.K. Rowling, this film is bound to be as great a success as the previous entries in the series.
