JK's Week 9 NFL Picks

John Krutz
Here are my week 9 picks. I got some thank you mails last week that were much appreciated. Hopefully my picks will help some more of you this week. My locks this week are Philadelphia over Seattle and Pittsburgh over Washington.

Houston +4.5 At Minnesota

Houston has been playing much better and I agree with them being the favorite in this one. Adrian Peterson is going to get stuffed by Houston's defense, take Houston.

Jacksonville -7.5 at Cincinnati

Cincinnati still stinks and although this is a larger spread take Jacksonville.

Tampa Bay -8.5 at Kansas City

It looks like the Chiefs will again be without Larry Johnson, so take Tampa Bay minus the points.

Baltimore +1.5 at Cleveland

This is an interesting game because both teams are tough to figure out. So let's go with the home team, the Browns.

NY Jets +5.5 at Buffalo

This is a tough one. I think the Bills will rebound off their loss last week, but the spread is a little to large. Take the Jets plus the points.

Arizona -3 at St. Louis

St. Louis has been on a role lately and their speed may be to much for Arizona. Take the Rams at home.

Detroit +13 at Chicago

Detroit still stinks take the Bears minus the points.

Green Bay +5.5 at Tennessee

Well Tennessee looked good on Monday night and because this one is at home I think they will cover the spread, take Tennessee.

Miami + 3 at Denver

Denver's defense is horrible and the Dolphins are looking better and better, take the fish plus the points.

Atlanta -3 at Oakland

Oakland is showing signs of improvement but I think the Falcons cover, take Atlanta.

Dallas +8.5 at NY Giants

It looks like Dallas may go to their third string quarterback. While this one may end up close I have to go with the Giants minus the points.

Philadelphia -6.5 at Seattle

The Eagles should win big in this one. Seattle has a great home crowd but I don't think they will have much to cheer for.

New England +6 at Indianapolis

This is a tough one to figure out. The Colts do not look like the same Colts of the past few years. Cassel seems to be improving for the Patriots, but it's hard to bet on him. However the Patriots are getting point so take New England.

Pittsburgh +2 at Washington

Pittsburgh defense should be the edge in this one. Look for them to stop the running game and win big in this one. I just don't think the Steelers lose 2 in a row, take the Steelers.

Good luck this week everybody!
