Still, the insurance offered is better than nothing, and many people employed through job agencies subscribe to their insurance policies. These policies are often enough to help employees get by until they are hired on a full-time permanent basis and are eligible for company insurance.

Temporary or Permanent?

When seeking a job through a job agency, a potential employee must consider if they want temporary or permanent employment. Some people are looking for steady permanent work, while others want something only temporary. There are pros and cons to both temporary and full-time jobs, and the terms of service are up to each person and their individual needs.

Permanent employment of course provides steady pay, and health insurance benefits are often an issue as well. Starting out as a temporary employee is a good way to decide if a job is right, and it gives a prospective permanent employee the power to choose without penalties.

Some people like temporary employment because of the variety it affords. If a person is hired to fill a temporary position they don't particularly like, they can find relief knowing the job is only temporary. After a set number of days, weeks, or months, the job will be over. If the temporary employee is ultimately hired for a job they enjoy, there can be a chance for permanent employment. This gives temporary employees the power to locate and obtain the perfect job.

Job agencies absolutely love employers wanting temporary positions. This is because temporary positions are quite often hard to fill. Most people want full-time permanent work, but temporary jobs do have their benefits. Those in temporary positions often love the fact they're always doing something different. This leaves no room for boredom, and both employer and employee win.
