Grand Junction, Colorado will be having a job fair on Friday, May 20th and if you're looking for a job, this is the place to be.

Job fairs are an opportunity to meet prospective employers and to network with people in your current field. There will be small businesses as well as large businesses at this job fair giving you the opportunity to meet and talk with them all. Maybe you have a current job and would like to do something different, or maybe you don't have a job and need to find work. That's what this job fair is all about; meeting and talking to employers while submitting a résume or application.

With unemployment rates so high, many companies are not advertising for openings that they have. Instead, they'll attend a job fair and can personally meet interested candidates.

If you plan on attending this job fair in Grand Junction, dress as if you're going for an interview and have a dozen or so résumes on hand. A neat appearance will give a nice first impression as many of the people that you'll be talking to will be from the Human Resources Department or they're the hiring manager. Be ready and dress appropriately.
