A big job interview has finally arrived, you have your outfit picked out and now you are debating on what jewelry to wear to the job interview.

If you decide to wear jewelry to a job interview keep it simple. Going overboard makes for a bad impression and might even keep you from landing the job that you want.

These tips on what jewelry to wear to a job interview will help you decide on the perfect jewelry.

Jewelry to wear to a job interview: Watches

Both men and women will look stunning in a nice watch. The watch should not show be too flashy or too generic either. A nice watch might be one that fits well with your outfit but doesn't scream "look at me".

Jewelry to wear to a job interview: Cufflinks

Cufflinks are great for men to wear. It shows that they take pride in their appearance. If you don't feel comfortable with wearing these, then just go without them.

Jewelry to wear to a job interview: Rings

Rings should be kept to a minimum. The perfect ring for you to wear is your wedding ring and anything else might add too much attention to the wrong area. One to two rings is fine but if you wear more than this you will be out doing yourself. A lot of rings will also cause your hands to make noise each time the rings clash against each other.

Jewelry to wear to a job interview: Necklace

If you must wear a necklace, wear one that does not hang too low. The perfect length would probably be right below the collar bone. The right type of necklace would all depend on the type of suit that you are wearing. The most appropriate necklace to wear with a suit would probably by pearls or fake pearls. A gold chain is also a great choice, it doesn't attract too much attention and it still looks great with your outfit. If you wear a necklace to the interview, do not wear one that has a charm on the end of it. Necklaces should be kept plain and simple.

Always remember to hold your head up high and to carry yourself like you mean business. The more simple that you keep your jewelry, the better you will look. Some outfits do look better with a watch and necklace but if you go overboard on it, you could regret it later.
