Jobs with the Census Bureau in Your Neighborhood
The Census Bureau Will Be Offering Employment in Many Areas of the Country
Charlotte, NC 28206
United States of America
While there will be employment in Charlotte, the hours will be limited. Those in Charlotte who are working in the field speaking to people to gather information should be healthy. People who have physical limitations might be able to get employment in the local office.
Anyone who works as a Census taker must be able to work evening and weekend hours. These hours are when most people are home and able to provide answers the Census is attempting to collect. Those who are working in an office may have a different schedule.
The Census Bureau makes it very clear that most jobs are part-time and temporary. The jobs are for between 20 to 40 hours.
Charlotte, like most locations around the world, has had limited employment during this economy. The Census Bureau has not published information about how many jobs will be available at this time. However, applicants will no doubt outnumber the jobs offered.
The links below will lead to further Census Bureau employment information in all parts of the country, including Charlotte. One site states that thousands of workers will be needed. Those who speak a second language will especially be in demand in certain areas.
