To qualify for this job, you need to have a bachelor's degree with a major in one of the fields of engineering, physical science, life science, computer science or mathematics. A degree in Engineering Technology will not be accepted. This applies to all grades and each one also has additional requirements. For the lowest grade, GS-9, you need 1 year of professional experience in a closely related field or a master's degree or 2 years of graduate study in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other fields of science. They will also consider a combination of experience and education.

They are also looking for an Equal Employment Manager in Houston, Texas with a salary from 125,915.00 - 153,200.00 USD per year. The qualifications include having knowledge of civil rights laws, regulations, Executive Orders, procedures and policies, requirements and administration of Federal personnel management, the ability to apply a wide range of program management techniques, knowledge of government employment practices and policies, knowledge of trends in diversity research, skills and perspectives, the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and analyze the composition of the workforce.

The other one is for a AST, Electrical Systems in Houston with a salary from 90,585.00 - 117,762.00 USD per year. Engineering Technology is not acceptable. You also need to have 1 year of specialized experience in analysis and design of operational and electrical requirements of aircraft systems, payloads and experiments and their integration into transportation systems as well as experience in designing unique or leading-edge technology, equipment, or electrical systems to meet specific mission requirements and knowledge of design and integration of aerospace electrical systems including avionics, power generation and distribution, and instrumentation.
