Not being one that has a large hobo-purse personally, I chose this present for one of my friends that prefers to carry everything with her at all times. My friend has one of those Mary Poppins purses that simply has everything that the wildest minds could imagine. Seriously, she has all her medicine for herself, her children and her husband; food items for everyone in her family; first-aid supplies good enough for a small army; more makeup that I have in my entire collection; a few tools and so much more. It is amazing what some people can put in a purse or backpack; I guess it does come in handy though.
So when I was planning out a present for my girlfriend, I came across a product that I had seen before on different occasions however didn't know where to purchase it. The perfect present is called the Purse Mate by Joey Junior. It is a personal purse organizer to lines the outside of your purse or backpack.
The Purse Mate comes in two different sizes, large (5" x 26") and small ( 4 ¼" x 7 ½") . The large organizer is a strip of material in the shape of a rectangle that has seven pockets on it. The organizer is flexible material and has a slightly harder interior material to keep its rigidity. It can easily fold into a circle and next be folded into a long straight rectangle; this means it can fit into just about any purse no matter the shape or size. For smaller purses, there is a mini organizer that comes in a triangular shape that is also just as flexible as the larger one.
Both sizes come in various colors ranging from African leopard, black and to candy apple red. The material is made from either a classic fabric to suede, prizes range between the different materials.
For the large organizer, the classic fabric is around $19.95 and the suede one is around $24.95 each. Both are very sturdy and are made of good materials. The small organizer is $14.95 for the classic fabric while the suede is $19.95. These may be available in stores in larger cities however I purchase mine online at the official Joey Junior Website.
Unfortunately I have not given this to my girlfriend yet since it is a Christmas present however I have tested it out in my own purse. I was able to easily fold the large organizer into different shapes without any issues. When I was changing it from purse to purse it was easy since I didn't have to take anything out of the organizer before moving it to another purse. All I had to do was fold the organizer a little to get it out of my purse and then place it in the other purse. It was very easy.
One thing that I found to be really convenient was the keychain holder on the outside of the organizer. Even though I do not carry a lot of things in my purse I am always looking for my keys. I am not sure how they always get to the bottom of my purse. So, when I placed the keys on the string connected to the organizer I just looked for the string and found my keys easily. The small organizer and large organizer both have this keychain feature which I am sure a lot of people will find handy.
So, if you are shopping for someone else or for yourself, I suggest the Joey Junior since it is so handy. It is under $20.00 and saves many hours searching for keys, lipstick, cell phone or whatever gets lost in your purse or backpack. It is a great find!
