According to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, jogging strollers offered for sale by phil&teds USA have been recalled.

Consumer reports of injuries have prompted the recall of the strollers sold by phil&teds USA. The company is located in Fort Collins, Colorado. The strollers were manufactured in China.

Three consumer reports claim injuries occurred because the hinge mechanism can cause laceration or amputations. In one instance a consumer's finger tip was amputated. Two other injuries that were reported included lacerations. Consumers are being offered a repair kit to resolve this situation.

With approximately 22,000 jogging strollers in the United States and 7,200 sold in Canada, phil&teds USA is offering a repair kit for the jogging strollers. To read the original report by the CPSC view this site.
