Duck Pond
East Kings Hwy
Shreveport, La 71105
Also known as E. Kings Hwy Park. You can find this park right next to Shreve Park Subdivision, and right off of Shreveport Barksdale Rd. You can even jog right out of Duck Pond Park and turn left on E. Preston street. Jog all the way down to Clyde Fant Parkway, and continue on their trail.
More highlights of this family oriented park is of course the duck pond. Benches are located up and down the park right next to the waterfront, so you can sit and watch/feed the ducks. There are several play structures, slides, swings and each one for a different age group. Great for toddler to teens and even grownups. The playground has a soft spongy ground to prevent children from getting hurt. Even in summer, the covered picnic areas, and grills, make this the perfect place to come jog with friends and relax afterward. Restrooms on site.
