The match was definitely in Cena's favor but Riley put on a great fight against Cena. At one point in the match Riley put Cena's face right up to the cage, and the Miz snapped away with his phone and even Tweeted after snapping the photo of Cena's face pressed right up against the steel cage. Shortly after that it seemed as if Cena was going to make a comeback, and both Riley and Cena ended up on the mat. Miz came over to Riley and slid his phone into the ring, and Riley used the phone as a weapon, hitting Cena in the head with it. After Cena hit the mat. Riley crawled towards the door and almost made it out, but Cena ended up grabbing Riley by the foot, while the Miz ran over and grabbed Riley's arm, trying to pull him out of the cage.
Cena eventually won the tug of war match, got Riley to the center of the ring, and slapped his submission hold on Riley. Alex Riley was tapping out big time, but that did not matter because the only way to win a cage match is to escape the cage. Shortly after slapping the submission onto Riley, the two wrestlers ended up on the top rope, and Cena delivered an awesome bulldog, followed by the attitude adjustment. Cena then walked over the the door, but the Miz ran over and blocked the door, but Cena overpowered the Miz, and eventually ended up opening the door and escaping the cage. However, Cena ended up at the end of a skull crushing finale, and the Miz walked away.
This was an awesome match, and after watching this match, I think that Alex Riley will have a great future in the WWE. Riley did a great job inside the cage match, and sooner or later Riley will end up getting a huge push.
This was not the only big thing that happen on Monday Night Raw last night. Stone Cold Steve Austin was revealed to return to Raw next week and Shawn Michaels even addressed the WWE universe via the titantron, and explained how he was feeling about Triple H facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 27. The Rock even talked some more trash about Cena, and he said that he will see Cena face-to-face soon.
