John Edwards Indicted? Movie Script to Follow?

Former U.S. Senator's Scandal Headed to Silver Screen?

Tyler Mills
The John Edwards scandal has gotten plenty of press. Now there is the word that there may be a Hollywood scripts in the works going into great detail over all of the drama. There is no word yet on who exactly could be cast as John Edwards. The same can be said for the role of Elizabeth Edwards, It is also not known exactly how much people in the world of Hollywood will want the movie publicized and talked about. The fact of the matter is that many people from Jeffrey Katzenberg and Tim Robbins as noted by NewsMeat.com were big supporters of Edwards particularly during his 2008 presidential campaign when he took a much more distinctly rhetorically left wing stance on nearly every issue.

Hollywood was a bit burned by the Clinton years and they didn't know Obama so Edwards was their safety net in many ways. It was thought Edwards could be molded into the perfect progressive candidate. Kevin Bacon even gave money to Edwards and even went on the road for him in New Hampshire before Bacon himself was defrauded by the Madoff scandal.

Hollywood screenwriters are not huge fans of Edwards anymore following the Rielle Hunter scandal. One person who worked on a movie set and volunteered for Edwards wrote about their anger on the Huffington Post. A lot of people in Hollywood are becoming more and more skeptical of people's motives when they enter politics. This is why Jonathan Tasini, the former President of the National Writer's Union as noted by Tasini's own biography has not picked up more steam during his runs for the U.S. Senate in New York.

It is unknown also whether such a script would highlight the surprisingly credible journalistic efforts of the National Enquirer. Another question that comes to mind is whether or not the movie script would include a bit about the potential indictment Edwards could face for funneling campaign funds to his mistress essentially. The sordid tale of John Edwards is not over, especially when there could be money to be made.

INOTE: I will openly admit having supported John Edwards during the 2004 Presidential campaign. I was not a supporter of his bid for the Democratic nomination in 2008. I was a supporter of Senator Chris Dodd. I will be glad to provide you a link to any of my articles following and or expressing support for the Dodd campaign as verification.

From ambulance chaser (attorney) to Senator to Hollywood actor... Goes to show just how costly divorce is. As much money as Edwards has made iN his career, he could be sitting pretty WITH HIS WIFE....ALSO GOES TO SHOW HOW COSTLY BEING AN ADULTRER CAN BE.

I live in North Carolina. All I have to say is: Hollywood must be hurting for movie themes. I have never cared for John Edwards!
