At about 1:30 AM on Tuesday morning, Joe McCain made the call.
Operator: 911 state your emergency
McCain: Well, It's not an emergency but do you know why on one side at the damn drawbridge of 95 traffic is stopped for 15 minutes and yet traffic's coming the other way?
Operator: Sir, are you calling 911 to complain about traffic?
McCain: "(Expletive) you." (hangs up)
The operator then called McCain back to leave a message informing him of his criminal abuse of 911. He reached a voice mail message that stated the following:
"Hi this is Joe McCain; I can't take this message now because I'm involved in a very important political project. I hope on Nov. 4th we have elected John."
Irate about the message, McCain then calls the Alexandria police.
McCain: Somebody gave me this riot act about the violation of police.
Operator: Did you just call 911 in reference to this?
McCain: Yeah.
Operator: 911 is to be used for emergencies only, not just because you're sitting in traffic.
Will this have an effect on the result of the election on November fourth? Hopefully the American population will be able to set aside the actions of Joe McCain and focus more on John McCain's personal platform. More of a disadvantage in the race against Obama is the last thing John McCain needs at the moment.
Joe McCain has apologized for his actions and for the embarrassment he has caused his brother. "I feel terrible about having hurt the campaign over this incident. I won't be doing any more campaigning because of that." Joe also shares that he didn't mean to swear at the operators and will be writing a letter of apology to both of the operators he had offended
One can only ask themselves, what was Joe thinking? Some have speculated that Joe must crave the attention, but Joe proclaims otherwise. Joe explains that he finds it difficult always being in the spotlight. "I'm very proud of my brother," Joe exclaims, "But having a last name of McCain can be tough."

Post a CommentI hadn't heard that before.
Wow! This is funny.
Wow are you serious lol
Thanks for sharing this!
Oh, this is SOOO much worse than Frank Biden killing a young, single father back in 99' in a hit and run!
Not to mention, two young girls were orphaned, hasnt paid a dime owed to them, and didnt care enough to show up to court..
Oh, and NONE of the Biden's ever contacted the orphans...
Why is no one paying attention to the truth???
I hadn't heard about this, it is too funny!
Halarious! Thanks for a moment of humor. This incident should not have an effect on the elections. People should focus on the issues. And when you dig down to the core of the issues, you are left with two questions: 1) Do you want those who borrow and spend? Or do you want those who tax and spend? And 2) Do you want those who redistribute the wealth to the middle and lower class wage earners? Or do you want those who redistribute the wealth to business managers via tax incentives?
I personally think McCain's whole campaign is a joke and this just makes it look worse. Nice job on this article.
