John McCain's Haunted House Campaign
Since McCain Likes to Drill so Much, I'm Glad He's Not My Dentist, John Mc-Novocain
John McCain's Hall Of Mirrors have been getting a lot of attention lately, over at Factcheck.org for distorting Obama's record. One ad states that Obama supported sex education for kindergarten children. Teaching sex education to kindergarteners is the kind of issue that Pat Robertson drools over, when it's fund raising time at the 700 Club. It pisses people off more than a home invasion, by a deranged killer. However, the bill that Obama supported would have only warned kindergarten kids about inappropriate touching and pedophiles, if their parents didn't elect to opt out. Maybe we should be warning kindertarden kids about lying politicians.
How about something scary, like providing affordable health care. Ooooh that's scary, says Count McCainula. Taken from factcheck.org: "McCain claimed that Obama's health care plan would, "force small businesses to cut jobs and would put a bureaucrat between you and your doctor." In fact, the plan exempts small businesses, and those who have insurance now could keep the coverage they have." I'm opposed to putting a bureaucrat between me and my doctor, especially if I'm getting a prostrate exam, at the time. Gee, I hope the bureaucrat at least washes his hands.
John McCain's been lying about Obama's tax plan, like a real estate agent trying to sell the Amityville Horror house. Obama said that he wouldn't raise taxes on anybody making less than $250,000.00 a year.
John McCain has changed his positions more often than a scare crow in a windy corn field, in order to placate the Republican, right wing. He voted against the Bush tax cuts, and now he's for them. McCain voted against off shore drilling, now he's for it. John McCain's been moving to the right faster than Linda Blair's head spun around, in the Exorcist.
John McCain thinks that drilling is the answer to all of our energy problems. He skipped the vote on increasing wind and solar tax credits 8 times. And factcheck says: " He promised to increase use of "wind, tide and solar" energy, though his actual energy plan contains no new money for renewable energy."
Since he likes to drill so much, I'm lucky he's not my dentist. I'd need a lot of Novocain. We should call him John Mc-NovoCain. His idea of being green is drinking green beer on Saint Paddies Day.
Before the current mortgage crisis McCain wanted to deregulate the financial markets. That's what caused this banking crisis. Now he wants to set up a 9-11 committee to find out what happened. That's like giving the town drunk the keys to a liquor store and then wondering why he didn't show up for work.
The Republicans thought that Roosevelt era legislation that stopped government insured banks from speculating in the stock market was obsolete. So to test their theory they repealed the Glass Steagal Act, and caused the biggest banking crisis since the Great Depression. Ooops! Honey I shrunk the economy.
Former McCain financial advisor, Senator Phil Gramm, chaired the Senate Finance Committee when they deregulated some of these financial instruments, that caused some of the recent bankruptcies. This was the unfettered capitalism, get government out of the way crowd. Dear Dr. Frankenstein, please bring your monster back to the dealer for a recall. Gramm was fired from the McCain campaign when he said that Americans are whiners, concerning the recent economic problems. I think he meant wine and diners, and he was talking about his Congressional pals.
John McCain can't remember how many houses he owns. When asked about it he said, "I don't remember ask my staff." Is this memory loss or disingenuous baloney from the straight talk express? John McCain and his wife Cindy own 10 homes. That would leave a carbon footprint that would scare Bigfoot.
Does it seem like you've been watching Nightmare on Pennsylvania Ave. for the last 8 years? Tired, of the federal government spending 12 billion dollars a month for an unnecessary war in Iraq? Tired, of no-bid contracts going to friends of Dick Cheney? This is a war that John McCain agitated for, months before we invaded. McCain wasn't smart enough to see through the faulty intelligence, and he's not smart enough to be President.
McCain won't change anything. You'll be paying more for health care. You'll be supporting big oil, and petro dictators. And the fat cats will be partying with their tax cuts, like Prince Prospero, trying to keep out the Red Death.
It's time to condemn the John McCain Haunted House, pull out the plug, and turn the lights on. Behind the curtain, you'll find the same crowd that's been running the country for the last eight years. It's the trick or treat Republicans. They tricked us into the war in Iraq and stole our treats. The Sept.29, 2008 Time cover stated, "How Wall St. Sold Out America? Wall St. had a party." Yea, it was the Republican Party.
