John Travolta and Kelly Preston: Another Couple Receiving a Gift from Above

John Travolta and Kelly Preston announced on (1) his official website , the birth of their son and their daughter Ella's baby brother, Benjamin Travolta. In January of 2009, the couple lost their first born son, 16-year old (2) Jett Travolta to a seizure. They are just one of many couples who have lost a child and have received a gift of another child from above to bring joy and comfort into the hearts of a couple who has lost a child. Losing a child is devastating to any parent, especially when the children are young. With faith, hope and love, couples who stay strong together and heal together may find open doors after their loss. John Travolta and Kelly Preston were blessed with another son, a gift from above that will bring joy to their lives. The name (3) Benjamin means son of the right hand and Jett Travolta will always be in spirit, the son of the left hand, a miracle from above.

The news of John Travolta and Kelly Preston brought back memories of the (4) Coble Family tragedy in Orange County, California. Lori and Chris Coble lost their three small children on May 4, 2007, when a truck driver crashed into the back of their van killing the three siblings, five year old son Kyle, four year old Emma and two year old Katie. I can clearly remember seeing the aftermath of the horrific accident on television when the news channels were broadcasting the scene of the accident that happened that day. During the time of the accident I was commuting to Ladera Ranch and the day that followed the accident, I was touched as I drove through the city of Ladera Ranch and saw a community that came came together and the sight of the abundance of pink ribbons and balloons that were tied on trees throughout Ladera Ranch. One week later on May 11, (5) pink and blue balloons were released to the heavens above and a return gift was received to the Coble couple one year later.

(6) On April 30, 2008, the Coble couple received a miracle that was a gift from above. The message of the pink and blue balloons that were sent to the heavens brought the miracle of three triplets that consisted of one boy and two girls that were born by vitro fertilization. Three siblings were born within minutes with Ashley arriving first weighing three pounds and seven ounces, Ellie was born second weighing four pounds and Jack was born third weighing three pounds and 13 ounces. The miracle of having an instant family back with their three newborns of the same sex as the children they lost.

The Travolta couple and the Coble couple are proof that gifts can be received from above and miracles can happen when couples stay strong and heal together. When one door closes, another one opens and with examples like these, couples who have lost a child can go on living a wonderful life if they keep their mind, heart and soul open to all possibilities by opening those doors together.

This is a wonderful blessing, but I'm sure the pain of losing a son is still there.
