John Travolta and Kelly Preston Expecting a Baby Boy

John Travolta and Kelly Preston are expecting a baby boy. News that Travolta and Preston were expecting was received by much happiness, as the couple make two very loving parents. They lost their son, Jett, last year in a tragic fall that occurred when he had a seizure. Now, they are expecting their third child together.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston are a little older than most expectant parents. Preston is 47 and Travolta is 56. However, their 10 year old daughter Ella Bleu will likely love her adorable cherub of a brother once he arrives.

A couple of months ago, around the time that news of the looming pregnancy broke, the couple lost their dogs to a freak accident at a north eastern airport.

Travolta and Preston met back in 1987 while filming "The Experts." At the time, both were married to other people and decided to just stay friends. After Travolta helped Preston through a rough relationship, they decided to take things to the next level. They eloped to Paris and were married in 1991, and had their son, Jett, in 1992.

The news of the pregnancy broke in May. Travolta told People Magazine "It's impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as thisWe want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella"

It seems as if there has been a celebrity baby boom in recent years. Last winter, Kendra Wilkinson, Michelle Duggar, Bethenny Frankel, and Kourtney Kardashian gave birth. Other expectant mothers include Alicia Keys, and Christina Applegate.

So far, there's no word on what the couple plan to name their baby boy. In addition, there are a lot of rumors flying around out there in cyberspace that the couple is expecting twins. This is not the case. The couple is only expecting one child.
