John Travolta's Tragedy; Son Dies in the Bahamas

Losing a child is a sad and heartbreaking thing anytime, but especially while on a family vacation and at the beginning of a New Year. But that is what had just happened to John Travolta and his family. The 16 years old son of the movie Star John Travolta was found dead today at the family's vacation home in the Bahamas.

According to www.tmz.com , Jett Travolta, a male with health conditions relating to autism or Kawasaki Syndrome, apparently had an accident and hit his head in a bath tub. He was at the family's private suite at Old Bahama Bay Resort on Grand Bahama Island when the incident occurred. Reports from police detail that the boy may have suffered from seizures leading to his hitting his head in a bathtub. He was found this morning by a family care taker, having been last seen going to the bathroom yesterday.

More information is forthcoming, as autopsy is scheduled to reveal the precise cause of this untimely death.

John Travolta is been known for his famous roles in Grease, Pulp Fiction, and the feature film Saturday Night Fever, which made him the most talked-about star in Hollywood in the 1970's. Look Who's Talking trilogy with Kirstie Alley and films like Phenomenon and Get Shorty have made Travolta a truly phenomenal actor transcending various eras and genres. Travolta is married to Kelley Preston and they live in Encino, California.
