A Place to Park the RV when on the Alabama Gulf Coast
Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort, located at 15810-C Highway 59, Foley, Alabama is found on the eastern side of Mobile Bay. RVers who choose to stay here will find that "life at Johnny's is about 3 things: the wonderful people, the resort amenities and activities and all the things you can do nearby."
Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort offers RVers the opportunity of having a place to use as home base while they are enjoying the local attractions. But, with this being a resort, the RVer may want to spend their time at the RV Resort or at least some of it. First of all, the RV sites are full hookup, which of course means that each site has water, electric, sewer connections, but Johnny's also includes wifi and cable television at each site. The amenities that RVers have come to expect to make their stay more comfortable are also available here, such as clean restrooms with showers, laundry facilities and a dumpster. But, there are more amenities here. Here RVers will have access to a water park with a lazy river, a resort style pool, a game room with a pool table and ping pong table, a stocked lake with a lakeside clubhouse complete with a kitchen, walking paths that are beautifully landscaped, onsite storage, a play ground and horseshoes. There is also a propane filling station on site. Pets are also welcome as long as they are well behaved and their owners are responsible for them. Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort also has a designated area for walking them.
There are a few rules and regulations that interested RVers should be aware of when considering staying at Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort. There is a limit of two pets and two vehicles at each RV Site. Also, RVs can be no shorter than 25 foot and they can not be older than 15 years. However, golf carts are welcome as long as the driver has a valid driver's license.
Johnny's LakesideRV Resort is a nice place to stay if the RVer is in the area to enjoy the activities and sights that are found along the Alabama Gulf Coast. It is located only 15 miles south of I-10, making it easy to get to, but it is also only 45 minutes from Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida and within 30 minutes (depending on traffic) of the beach. If going to the beach is not on the agenda, then there are other attractions nearby such as Alligator Alley, Shoreline Pontoon Boat Rentals, Gulf Links Golf Course and The Gulf Bowl, which are all within six and a half miles from the RV Resort.
Other places are near Johnny's Lakeside RV Resort too. Restaurants in the area are Opry's Country Café, Ichiban Japanese Steak House, Waffle House, L.A. BBQ and Company and Chick and Sea Foods, which are all under three miles away. If the RVer needs to go grocery shopping there is a Winn Dixie, a Piggly Wiggly and a Walmart Supercenter within five miles of the RV Resort. Shopping is also easy when staying at Johnny's as the Tanger Outlet Center is less than six miles away, there is a Dollar General only three miles away and Target is about eleven miles away.
